NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - A Lufkin man wanted in connection to the 2008 death of a Nacogdoches County man turned himself in over the weekend, Nacogdoches County Sheriff Thomas Kerss said.

Kerss said Andrew Devon Thomas, 28, is charged with capital murder. He is accused in the death of Lamont Kenyon Patton, 34. Patton was discovered dead inside of a burning car on Laceyville Road in Nacogdoches County.

Thomas' lawyer made arrangements with the sheriff's office for his arrest.

Three men were already arrested in the death. Bob Moore II pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and was sentenced to five years in prison. Schanda Handy pleaded guilty to the same charge for a probated sentence. Bakari White's case is pending, as he is also charged with capital murder.
