Huntington woman killed in two vehicle collision Friday

PANOLA COUNTY, TX (KTRE)- A Huntington woman was killed in a two vehicle collision Friday, in Panola County.

A truck driving northbound on Highway 79 at County Road 107 failed to control its speed and struck the car ahead of it, causing it to leave the roadway. In this vehicle was passenger Krystal Stanbury, 28, of Huntington. She was pronounced dead on the scene. Next of kin have been notified.

The driver, Joshua Stanbury, 33, was injured and taken to ETMC in Carthage. Reports indicate he is in stable condition.

The driver of the truck, Lonterio Allison, 28, of Carthage was also taken to ETMC in Carthage and according to DPS, he is in good condition.

Trooper David Tompkins of Carthage was on the scene.
