3/23/10 Nacogdoches Police report

Resisting arrest; 3200 block of north street. Officers responded to a disturbance. The suspect was screaming at the complainant on arrival. Suspect continued to be agitated and officers attempted to restrain him. He resisted and the suspect was arrested.


Assault; 5300 block of northway. Complainant reported being choked by a known suspect. Complainant declined to file charges.


Aggravated robbery; 800 block of jordan street. Complainant advised that he admitted an unknown black male suspect into his residence. The suspect displayed a pistol and a knife and demanded money. The complainant called 911 and the suspect fled.


Possession of a controlled substance-possession of marijuana-unlawful carrying of a weapon; 2000 block of mlk. Officer conducted a traffic stop. The driver and occupant were found to be in possession of both suspected marijuana and cocaine. They also were in possession of two pistols. Both suspects were arrested.


Theft; 4100 block of north street. Complainant reported that a cell phone was stolen from a table in a restaurant.


Criminal mischief; 3200 block of south street. Complainant's vehicle was damaged while in the parking lot of a local hotel.


Identity theft; 100 block of west college. Complainant reported that unknown suspects used identifying information to obtain utility service.


Theft of a firearm; 1500 block of north street. A smith and wesson pistol was reported stolen from a vehicle.


Credit card abuse; 2600 block of north university drive. Complainant reported that unknown persons had made unauthorized charges to a credit card account.
