LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - An Angelina County Grand Jury has indicted a Diboll man for his alleged role in a prank call incident at a Lufkin McDonald's.
According to a previous report, James Tyler Markle,19, allegedly called an employee on June 20, telling him the fire suppression system may be malfunctioning and he needed to pull the pin on the fire extinguisher.
He then allegedly told the employee the fumes from the extinguisher were toxic, and he needed to evacuate the building and give Markle a cell phone number to call the employee back on.
Once the employee was outside, Markle allegedly told the employee to break the windows to relieve the building of toxic fumes.
The national Web site, thesmokinggun.com claimed that Markle is known as "Prankster," a member a prank ring.
The grand jury also indicted Ronald Mack Fuentes Jr., Justin Ryan Thompson, William Grant Toburen and Bryan Wayne Rice, all 21 and from Lufkin, on a charge of aggravated robbery. The quartet are accused in a pair of botched robberies in February. According to a previous report, the four tried to rob a man at Deer Cross Apartments and a convenience store.
