AC softball sweeps San Jac Improve to 19-11

            The Angelina College Lady Roadrunners bounced back from Wednesday's sweep in Galveston, taking out some frustrations on San Jacinto with a  sweep of their own.

            AC downed San Jac 1-0 in Game 1 behind shutout pitching from Stacie Tassin; then followed with a 4-3 win in the nightcap.

            The wins even the Lady ‘Runners' conference record at 4-4. AC will travel to take on LSU-Eunice on Monday in doubleheader scheduled to start at 2 p.m.

            The Roadrunner baseball team will be on the road to Mt. Pleasant for a Saturday doubleheader with Northeast Texas. AC dropped a twinbill to Navarro on Wednesday, falling to 3-3 in conference play.

            Game time for baseball is 2 p.m.
