LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) – Witnesses say a man running a red light was the cause of a Wednesday afternoon wreck on the intersection of First Street and Frank Avenue.

Lufkin Police Officer Stacey Seymore said John Cockerham, 52, of Woodville, was driving a Chevy pick-up truck westbound on Frank Street when he hit a Ford Taurus driven by Cynthia Harrell, 47, of Lufkin. Cockerham's truck then hit a Dodge truck, driven by Ryan Williams, 32, of Lufkin, before it came to rest on its side.

Harrell was taken to a Lufkin hospital where she is being treated for unknown injuries.

Seymore said no citations have been issued in the wreck, as it is still under investigation.
