Burglary/Building 700 Block Andrews Avenue

At approximately 12:10 A.M. on Monday, April 5, 2010, unidentified actors burglarized a business located in the 700 block of Andrews Street.  According to the report, witnesses contacted Lufkin Police Department and stated that they had observed several black, male subjects forcing entry into the business by breaking a window.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Habitation 900 Block South First Street

Between the hours of 6:00 A.M. on Saturday, April 3, 2010 and 11:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 4, 2010, unidentified actors burglarized a residence located in the 900 block of South First Street.  According to the report, the actors forced entry into the residence by breaking a window and a table, a DVD player, and a computer monitor were among the property removed from the residence.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

 Burglary/Habitation 2100 Block Nile Street 

At approximately 6:30 P.M. on Sunday, April 4, 2010, unidentified actors burglarized a residence located in the 2100 block of Nile Street.  According to the report, a neighbor confronted two black, male subjects as they carried a television from the residence to a vehicle, causing the suspects to discard the television and flee the area in the vehicle.  The report stated that the television was broken during the incident and that the neighbor was able to provide a description of the suspects’ vehicle.  The report stated that the homeowner provided the names of possible suspects and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

 Criminal Mischief 3400 Block Daniel McCall Drive

At approximately 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 4, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) damaged a vehicle parked in the 3400 block of Daniel McCall Drive.  According to the report, the vehicle’s rear window was broken and the incident was referred for further investigation.

 Burglary/Vehicle 800 Block Bennett Street

Between the hours of 1:00 A.M. and 1:30 P.M. on Sunday, April 4, 2010, unidentified actors burglarized a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Bennett Street.  According to the report, the actors entered the vehicle and removed a purse containing the complainant’s Driver’s License, Social Security card, debit card, and checkbook.  The report stated that no signs of forced entry into the vehicle were observed and that the incident was referred for further investigation.
