  The Angelina College Roadrunners have been spared a rare three-series road trip by virtue of impending bad weather.

            AC, originally scheduled to travel to Carthage on Wednesday to take on Panola, announced the team instead will host the Ponies in a doubleheader on Tuesday beginning at 2 p.m. at Roadrunner Field in Lufkin.

            The ‘Runners earned a split in Texarkana this past weekend, and will travel to Paris for a twinbill on Saturday. By taking one of the two games from the conference-leading Bulldogs, AC pushed its record to 18-20, 6-6, leaving the Roadrunners in sixth place in Region XIV's East Zone. Panola split at Navarro, winning the opener 6-5 before dropping the nightcap 7-6. Panola, at 25-10, 7-5, is in fourth place in the East Zone.

            Tuesday's game will mark the end of the first round of conference play for both teams.
