4/7/10 Lufkin Police report

Criminal Mischief, 800 Block North First Street: Between the hours of 5:00 P.M. and 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, an unidentified actor damaged the door of a residence located in the 800 block of North Timberland Drive.  According to the report, the complainant did not believe any property had been removed from the residence and the incident was referred for further investigation.

Assault, 200 Block Hopkins Street: At approximately 8:50 P.M. on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, a known female suspect assaulted a female complainant outside of a residence located in the 200 block of Hopkins Street.  According to the report, the suspect punched the complainant and pulled the complainant's hair but fled the area prior to the complainant contacting Lufkin Police Department.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Deadly Conduct                                , 200 Block East Laurel Avenue: At approximately 8:30 P.M. on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that an unidentified actor(s) discharged a firearm in the 200 block of East Laurel Avenue causing damage to the complainant's door and window.  According to the report, persons in the area of the incident stated that they did not hear the gunshot.  The report stated that responding Lufkin Police Department Officers collected evidence at the scene and the incident was referred for further investigation.

Assault, 900 Block South Second Street: At approximately 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that her brother assaulted her in the 900 block of South Second Street.  According to the report, while arguing with the complainant over inherited money the suspect pushed the complainant against a brick wall causing an abrasion to the complainant's elbow.  The report stated that the complainant reported the incident approximately four hours after it occurred and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Disturbance/Domestic, 700 Block Schuller Street: At approximately 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, a disturbance occurred between two female subjects at a residence located in the 700 block of Schuller Street.  According to the report, minor injuries were reported after one of the subjects attempted to collect clothing for a child that Child Protective Services (CPS) had temporarily placed into her custody and the mother of the child attempted to prevent the collection of the clothing.  The report stated that Lufkin Police Department Officers contacted the subjects at different locations and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Fraud, 5500 Block Daniel McCall Drive: On Tuesday, April 6, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that an unidentified actor had stolen a checkbook from her residence and had fraudulently passed checks of the total amount of the approximate total amount of $500.00.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she might know who had committed the offense but, at the time of the report, she did not provide Lufkin Police Department the actor's identity.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Habitation, 400 Block North Chestnut Drive: Between the hours of 8:00 P.M. on Monday, April 5, 2010 and 12:30 on Tuesday, April 6, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a residence located in the 400 block of North Chestnut Drive.  According to the report, the actor(s) forced entry into the residence by breaking a window and unlocking a door, and then removed a television from within the residence.  The report stated that the complainant provided Lufkin Police Department the name of a possible suspect and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Deadly Conduct                                , 200 Block East Denman Avenue: On Tuesday, April 6, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that an unidentified actor(s) discharged a firearm in the 200 block of East Denman Avenue causing damage to complainant's residence.  According to the report, a neighbor stated that at approximately 6:45 A.M. that date they heard what they believed to be the gunshot in the area.  The report stated that responding Lufkin Police Department Officers collected evidence at the scene and the incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft of Service                                , 1100 Block East Denman Avenue: On Tuesday, April 6, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that an unidentified female subject failed to pay him $20.00 for jump-starting her vehicle on March 25, 2010.   The report stated that the complainant provided Lufkin Police Department a description of the suspect and the license plate of the suspect's vehicle and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Terroristic Threat, 900 Block Jordan Avenue: On Tuesday, April 6, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that on April 1, 2010 a known suspect threatened to cause harm to her.  According to the report, the complainant has experienced ongoing problems with the suspect.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Fraud, 1600 Block East Denman Avenue: On Tuesday, April 6, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between March 31, 201 and April 5, 2010 an unidentified actor(s) fraudulently utilized her debit card to make seventeen separate purchases.  According to the report, the complainant believes the actor(s) might be subjects that recently visited her roommate.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Fraud, 1200 Block West Frank Avenue: On Tuesday, April 6, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that on or about December 26, 2009 an unidentified actor(s) fraudulently utilized her debit card and checks to make purchases of the approximate total amount of $500.00.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.
