Lufkin Police report finding meth lab while investigating assault

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Lufkin Police were first called to a home in the 100 block of Finley Avenue about a domestic disturbance, but they found much more than that.

Police determined that Christopher Rector, 29, injured a woman at the house. While searching his residence, police found what they thought was a meth lab.

Rector is now in the Angelina County on four criminal charges, including assault, possession with intent to deliver and possession of a controlled substance. His bond totals more than $100,000.
