NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE)- KTRE River Rivalry is less than two weeks away and the kids are getting ready for their big game.
Monday night, we went to Central Heights, where Blue Devils head coach Kevin Herron leads the Nacogdoches county boys.
These players have a lot of excitement going into the big matchup.
"It's going to be fun playing against these guys again and, just a small school playing against some big schools," said Michael King, playing for Central Heights.
"Now we'll be playing each other, so we can come back and bring Nacogdoches County a victory," said Jkelon Edwards with Central Heights.
"I hope we can come out and be competitive, and play as a team," said Bret Partin for Douglas.
"Nacogdoches against Lufkin, that's a big rivalry so us going against them, that'll still be a big rivalry," said Timothy White representing Nacogdoches High.
