ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Angelina County deputies say they arrested two people who are members of the Aryan Brotherhood after catching them counterfeiting money in a motel room. They also said the pair had components of a meth lab in the room.

Inv. Tom Matthews said the sheriff's office received an anonymous tip from another room in American Motel, located on U.S. 59, north of Lufkin, about a possible meth lab.

Deputies arrested Laura Melissa Hough, 34, of Lufkin, and Marshall Neal Hough, 35, of Highland at about 4 p.m. Monday at the motel.

Matthews said Laura Hough was on probation for theft and manufacturing drugs and Marshall Hough was on parole for manufacturing drugs and forgery.

Both are now charged with forgery and manufacturing of a controlled substance.

Matthews said he believes the pair are married but did not know for sure because "they weren't very cooperative when we made the arrests."
