NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - The head coach of Emporia State in Kansas will be the new coach of the SFA Ladyjacks basketball team. SFA made the announcement today at a press conference.
Brandon Schneider coached the Lady Hornets for nine seasons, leading them to four MIAA regular-season titles, three MIAA post-season tournament championships, eight NCAA II Tournaments, five NCAA II South Central Region championship games, and three appearances in the NCAA II Elite Eight, according to the Emporia State Web site.
Schneider succeeds Lee Ann Riley, who resigned following the 2009-10 season.
