NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - The Nacogdoches Sheriff's Office has charged a March stabbing victim with possession of marijuana.

Sheriff's deputies discovered the marijuana at the home of Michael Frank Hagan, 32, of Nacogdoches, while investigating the stabbing.

At the time of the discovery, Hagan was recovering in a hospital.

Because more than five pounds of marijuana was discovered, Hagan is charged with a felony. He was arrested on April 13 and posted an $8,500 bond.

The stabbing case will be presented to a grand jury. No arrests have been made.
