LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) – Great news for avid readers on a budget. The used book sale at Kurth Memorial Library in Lufkin kicks off.
Members of "friends of the library" will have first pick Thursday evening from 5 to 9 P.M.
Friday and Saturday, the public can stop by to perouse the selection of books from fantasy to history.
Most books sell for around a buck. All the proceeds go back to the library for new books and programs for the community.
"People can expect to find any type of book they want for every price available. If you have ten cents you can come to our book sale," said Carlotta Hunt, Member of the Friends of the Library.
