4/27 Lufkin Police report

Criminal Mischief - 600 Block Abney Avenue: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that at approximately 2:20 A.M. on Tuesday, April 27, 2010, a known suspect damaged her vehicle while the vehicle was standing in the 600 block of Abney Avenue.  According to the report, complainant stated that the suspect struck her vehicle with a brick, causing a dent and scratches to the paint, but when interviewed by the responding Lufkin Police Department Officers the suspect denied having thrown the brick.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Assault - 100 Block Everett Street: At approximately 1:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 27, 2010, Lufkin Police Department Officer responded to a residence located in the 100 block of Everett Street in reference to an Assault.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her boyfriend used his fist to strike her face, causing a laceration, and that he had fled the area prior to the arrival of the Officers.  The report stated that due to the family relationship between the complainant and suspect, and the injuries to the complainant, the responding Lufkin Police Department Officers photographed the complainant's injuries and will seek a warrant for the arrest of the suspect.

Terroristic Threat - 2500 Block Daniel McCall Drive: Complainants reported to Lufkin Police Department that at approximately 10:45 P.M. on Monday, April 26, 2010, a known suspect threatened to injure them and as he drove passed them in the 2500 block of Daniel McCall Drive he pointed a firearm in their direction.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Criminal Mischief - 3200 Block Old Union Road: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that at approximately 7:00 P.M. on Monday, April 26, 2010, a known suspect damaged his vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the 3200 block of Old Union Road.  According to the report, complainant stated that the suspect used a key to scratch the vehicle's paint vehicle and that he responded by breaking a window of the suspect's vehicle.  The report stated that a couple of hours after the complainant reported the incident to Lufkin Police Department, the suspect contacted Lufkin Police Department Officers and denied having damaged the complainant's vehicle but stated that the complainant did damage her vehicle and used his fist to strike her head.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Vehicle - 1700 Block West Frank Avenue: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between the hours of 2:30 P.M. and 7:10 P.M. on Monday, April 26, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized his vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the 1700 block of West Frank Avenue.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) forced entry into the vehicle by breaking a window and removed from the vehicle a portable GPS unit and music CDs.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Criminal Mischief - 4600 Block South Medford Drive: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. on Monday, April 26, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) damaged her vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the 4600 block of South Medford Drive.  According to the report, complainant stated that the actor(s) used a rock to break the front and rear windows of the vehicle.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Habitation - 1000 Block South First Street: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 12:00 P.M. on Monday, April 26, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized her residence located in the 1000 block of South First Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) forced entry into the residence by removing a window-mounted air conditioning unit and removed from the residence a laptop computer and jewelry.  The report stated that the residence was processed for evidence by a Lufkin Police Department Crime Scene Technician and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft - 2100 Block Southwood Drive: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that at approximately 10:45 A.M. on Monday, April 26, 2010, an unidentified female suspect stole a mobile telephone from a business located in the 2100 block of Southwood Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the suspect concealed the telephone within her clothing and exited the store without making payment.  The report stated that the complainant provided a description of the suspect and the suspect's vehicle but responding Lufkin Police Department Officer were unable to locate the suspect and that the incident was referred for further investigation.
