Diboll ISD receives a 40-acre donation

DIBOLL, TX (KTRE) - DIBOLL TX, (Press release) – Temple-Inland has donated approximately 40 acres of land to the Diboll Independent School District. The tract of land, which is located north of Lumberjack drive across from Diboll High School, will be the site of the new elementary school approved under the 2009 school bond.

On hand for the announcement was Jack C. Sweeny, Group Vice President, Building Products; Gary Martel, Vice President, Investor Relations and Treasury and Jim Brody, Vice President, Strategic Resources.

"We are pleased to play a role in the growth of the Diboll Independent School District," said Simons.

Temple-Inland Inc. is a manufacturing company focused on corrugated packaging and building products. The fully inter grated corrugated packaging operation consists of  seven mills and 62 converting facilities.
