LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - The Lufkin Fire Department says a warrant has been issued for a man who they say started a fire which destroyed a North Lufkin home.
Spokesman Steve McCool said Timothy Thompson, 25, was served a warrant for arson of habitation, Thursday in the Angelina County Jail, where he is booked with previous charges of drug possession, evading arrest, criminal mischief and assault. His bond is set at $118,500.
McCool said did not comment on details of the investigation, but did say the investigation and witnesses pointed to Thompson's involvement.
The Keltys Street home caught fire early the morning of March 14.
