4/29 Lufkin Police report

Burglary/Building - 1600 Block North John Redditt Drive: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that at approximately 10:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a business located in the 1600 block of North John Redditt Drive.  According to the report, the actor(s) forced entry into the business by damaging a window but, at the time of the report, nothing was known to be missing from within the business.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Harassment - 300 Block Moody Street: On Wednesday, April 28, 2010, a female complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that the father of her child had sent her harassing and threatening text messages.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Assault - 500 Block McMullen Street: Two complainants reported to Lufkin Police Department that at approximately 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, the other complainant had assaulted them outside of a residence located in the 500 block of McMullen Street.  According to the report, complainants have a dating relationship and each stated that the other bit them during an altercation.  The report stated that the complainants contacted Lufkin Police Department from separate locations and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Habitation - 500 Block Park Lane: At approximately 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, Lufkin Police Department Officers responded to a reported burglary of a residence located in the 500 block of Park Lane.  According to the report, a neighbor observed three black, male suspects force entry into the residence by removing a window-mounted air conditioning unit and that when questioned the suspects they fled the area on foot.  The report stated that the neighbor provided descriptions of the three suspects and that, at the time of the report, nothing was known to be missing from within the business.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Terroristic Threat - 100 Block Cordelia Street: On Wednesday, April 28, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that his brother sent to him a threatening text messages.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Fraud - 400 Block North Timberland Drive: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that on March 30, 2010 his business cashed a check for a customer and later discovered that the check was fraudulent.  The report stated that the customer received the check by mail as part of a scam and unknowingly went along with the scam.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Criminal Mischief - 3500 Block South First Street: On Wednesday, April 28, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that his vehicle had been damaged on six different occasions since February 1, 2010 while parked on the Angelina College Campus.  According to the report, the complainant stated that an unidentified actor(s) scratched the vehicle's paint.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Vehicle - 200 Block Cordelia Street: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between the hours of 5:30 P.M. on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 and 8:15 A.M. on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the 200 block of Cordelia Street.  According to the report, the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer did not observe signs of forced entry and the complainant stated that the actor(s) removed from the vehicle prescription medication.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Vehicle - 700 Block Allendale Drive: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between the hours of 10:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 and 7:15 A.M. on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized two vehicles while the vehicles were parked in the 700 block of Allendale Drive.  According to the report, the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer did not observe signs of forced entry and the complainant stated that the actor(s) removed cash from within one of the vehicles.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.
