Sawmill Supper set for Friday night

LUFKIN TX, (Press release) – Get ready for a great time at the Twenty- Third Annual Sawmill Supper on Friday, May 7 from 5:00 p.m. at the Texas Forestry Museum in Lufkin. An old-fashioned meal of homemade beans, cornbread, coleslaw, cobbler, banana pudding, combined with great entertainment guarantees family fun for all.

Local celebrity chefs will cook and serve their secret family recipes. Veteran Clarkie Mae Brown will be back for the 23rd year bringing her famous "Hot-n-Spicy' beans. Several varieties of homemade cornbread complete the simple old- fashioned menu.

The Yeller Dawg bluegrass band will be back again this year for some great musical entertainment. There will also be a raffle drawing for a high back rocker courtesy of Carpets by Curiosity. Bring the whole family for fun old-fashioned get-together.
