LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) – Police say two men robbed a Little Caesar's restaurant Friday night, and that one suspect carried a gun.

Lt. David Young with the Lufkin Police Department said the incident took place at the 1800 block of West Frank Street at around 11 p.m. Friday.

The report says deputies patrolling the area recovered a bag of money.

While one suspect escaped, 22-year-old Cordell Renard Green was arrested and taken to the Angelina County Jail on an aggravated robbery charge.

His bond is set at $25,000.

KTRE contacted Little Caesar's multiple times, but a store manager was not available for comment as of Saturday evening.
