SABINE COUNTY, TX (KTRE) – Rattling roofs and high winds is how some Sabine county residents in the Rebel Ridge subdivision describe Monday night's weather.

A log home was severely damaged by Monday night's storm. Strong winds ripped the porch light of that log home right off. Power lines still dangle in the street.

We caught up with a storm victim picking-up leaves and branches strewn across her front yard.

"It was scary to me I was here by myself and he's worst than I am and I got in the hall at the time because I wasn't sure if it was a tornado or just what it was. It was roaring and the wind was blowing real hard," said Pat Oden, storm victim.

Oden said it will take her all week to clean up the storm's mess. She said she's thankful no one was hurt.
