China Garden on South Timberland received 10 demerits. Food items should be covered in sanitary containers. The screen at the back door needs repairs. They must store the ice scoop properly, and the bulk food item scoop must have a handle. They need to paint the shelf by the ware washer so it is smooth and easily cleanable.

Fiesta Mexicana on South Timberland was handed 7 demerits. They need to renew food handlers certification. They need to use scoops with proper handles. They must store the ice scoop properly and sanitize inside the ice machine. They need to replace the seal at the cooler; it needs to be smooth and cleanable. They also need to clean all kitchen surfaces.

PaPa Johns on South First got 7 demerits. The flour bend should be a food grade container and labeled with contents. They need to store the flour scoop properly and clean the cutting board in the back.

Chick-fil-A in the Lufkin Mall received 7 demerits. They need to repair or restore the cold water in the restroom immediately. They need to sanitize inside the ice machine.
