6/2/10 Nacogdoches Police report

Theft - 3800 block of North Street: complainant reported that a cell phone was stolen from in a vehicle which had been loaned out.

Credit card abuse - 3500 block of Appleby Sand: complainant reported an unauthorized purchase over the internet without cardholder permission.

Identity theft - 900 block of North West Stallings drive: complainant reported that unknown suspect had used his identity to obtain a credit card.

Credit card abuse - 300 block of West Main: Complainant reported unauthorized charges on his credit card.

Theft - 200 block of Bowie Street: complainant reported that an unknown suspect reached inside his vehicle and stole a pair of sunglasses.

Credit card abuse - 1600 block of East Main: Complainant reported unauthorized charges on a credit card.

Credit card abuse - 1700 block of Douglass road: complainant reported an unauthorized charge on a credit card form another town.

Theft - 1900 block of Press Road: A fuel/ propane tank was stolen from private property.

Criminal mischief - 3400 block of Tudor drive: an unoccupied home had the air conditioner system damaged by unknown suspects.

Theft - 200 block of Warren Drive: Complainant received a notice that she had won several thousand dollars. Complainant sent a check to allegedly pay the taxes on the winnings. The transaction was an apparent swindle.

Theft - 2900 block of Chimney Rock: complainant reported that a known suspect had stolen some DVDs and video games and sold them.

    Temporarily calling the Nacogdoches Animal Shelter a home, Remi is hoping to find something a little more permanent. Caretakers said the one-year-old dog is playful and loves attention. Remi was brought into the shelter as a stray about three weeks ago. "He gets along with the other dogs.
