Lufkin police investigating 7 Sunday morning car burglaries

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) – Lufkin Police are investigating seven car burglaries that happened early Sunday morning in the Englewood neighborhood near Lazy Oaks Apartments. Police said the burglaries seem to all be connected.

According to police, a 16-year-old boy was arrested and charged with burglary of a motor vehicle, evading arrest and possession of a controlled substance.

Police said a witness spotted a second suspect with the 16-year-old boy. He's described as a black male, not wearing a shirt.
