REDLAND, TX (KTRE) – A Redland Water Supply spokesperson said they're asking consumers to stop all outside watering until further notice.
One of the two water wells broke Sunday morning. It's unclear what caused the well to break. That broken well supplies water to at least half of their customers. Redland Water Supply Manager Mike Moore said the company serves about 1,000 customers.
Moore said consumers may notice low-water pressure. He's asking people to try their best to conserve the water until the broken well is fixed.
A crew from Russell Drilling in Nacogdoches will begin repairing the well Monday morning. Moore hopes the well is fixed by Thursday or Friday of this week.
