6/8/10 Lufkin Police report

Theft - 323 Block Homer Street: On Tuesday, June 8, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that an unidentified actor(s) stole a window-mounted air conditioner from a residence located in the 300 block of Homer Street.  According to the report, the air conditioner was stolen while the complainant was away from the residence for approximately one hour.  The report stated that the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer found reason to doubt the legitimacy of the reported theft and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft of Service - 3000 Block South John Redditt Drive: On Monday, June 7, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that two unidentified actors committed the offense of Theft of Service at a business located in the 3000 block of South John Redditt Drive.  According to the report, the suspects received manicure and pedicure services at the business but fled the business without making payment.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Habitation - 700 Block Clark Avenue: On Monday, June 7, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that an unidentified actor(s) stole a water heater from a vacant residence located in the 700 block of Clark Avenue.  According to the report, the water heater was stolen from within a utility closet accessed from outside of the residence.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft - 2000 Block Denver Avenue: On Monday, June 7, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that the previous date an unidentified actor(s) stole a bicycle from a residence located in the 2000 block of Denver Avenue.  According to the report, the bicycle was stolen from the yard of the residence with the complainant was away from home.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Criminal Mischief - 100 Block South Second Street: On Monday, June 7, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between Friday, June 4, 2010, and Monday, June 07, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) damaged a storage building located in the 100 block of South Second Street.  According to the report, the actor(s) used spray paint to write graffiti on the exterior of the building.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Habitation - 900 Block Johnson Avenue: On Monday, June 7, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between Friday, June 4, 2010, and Monday, June 07, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a residence located in the 900 block of Johnson Avenue.  According to the report, three televisions and a desktop computer were among the items removed from within the residence, and the complainant suspects that the father of her child of committed the burglary.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft/Felony - 300 Block South Chestnut Street: On Monday, June 7, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that on Saturday, June 5, 2010, he left a bank bag in a shopping cart at a business located in the 300 block of South Chestnut Street and when he returned to the business the bank bag was missing from the cart.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the bank bag contained checks written to the complainant's business several hundred dollars in cash, and a checkbook for the complainant's business.  The report stated that incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Vehicle - 200 Block Kerr Avenue: On Monday, June 7, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 10:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 6, 2010, and 8:00 A.M. on Monday, June 07, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a vehicle parked in the 200 block of Kerr Avenue.  According to the report, the actor(s) forced entry into the vehicle by breaking one of the vehicle's window's and removed from within the vehicle a car radio and video monitors.  The report stated that the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer collected blood evidence from within the vehicle and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Criminal Mischief - 100 Block Booker Street: On Monday, June 7, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that at approximately 1:30 A.M. that date an unidentified actor damaged a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Booker Street.  According to the report, a witness observed the actor throw a brick at the complainant's vehicle, breaking the vehicle's rear window.  The report stated that the complainant believes the witness-described actor is her ex-boyfriend and that the incident was referred for further investigation.
