6/9/10 Lufkin Police report

Assault - 100 Block Cotton Square: On Tuesday, June 8, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that at approximately 11:15 P.M. that date known female suspect assaulted the complainant and the complainant's one-year-old child in the roadway in the 100 block of Cotton Square.  According to the report, the complainant stated to the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer that the suspect punched her and, in the process of punching her, punched the complainant's one-year-old child, but witnesses to the incident stated to the Officer that the suspect and complainant were mutual combatants in a physical altercation over the complainant using the suspect's vehicle.  The report stated that the complainant and suspect were at separate location when the report was filed, that the Officer did not observe any signs of injury to the complainant or child, and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Vehicle - 1700 Block West Frank Avenue: On Tuesday, June 8, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 2:00 P.M. and 10:00 P.M. that date, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a vehicle parked in the 1700 block of West Frank Avenue.  According to the report, the actor(s) forced entry into the vehicle by breaking one of the vehicle's windows and removed from within the vehicle a car radio.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Assault/Aggravated - 100 Block Conn Avenue: On Tuesday, June 8, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that on either Sunday, June 6, 2010 or Monday, June 7, 2010, the complainant was assaulted by numerous unidentified actors in the roadway in the 100 block of Conn Avenue.  According to the report, the complainant stated to the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer that the actors punched and kicked the complainant until the complainant's spouse used a tire tool to strike one of the actors, allowing the complainant and spouse to flee the area.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Habitation - 700 Block Clingman Street: On Tuesday, June 8, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 3:00 P.M. and 4:45 P.M. that date, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's residence, located in the 700 block of Clingman Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that, while the complainant slept in another area of the residence, the actor(s) entered the living room area of the unsecured residence and removed from the complainant's wallet several hundred dollars worth of currency.  The report stated that the complainant also reported his cat was missing from within the residence.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Vehicle - 2400 Block South First Street: On Tuesday, June 8, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 2:00 P.M. and 2:30 P.M. that date, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a vehicle parked in the 2400 block of South First Street.  According to the report, the actor(s) forced entry into the vehicle by removing a door lock cylinder from the vehicle's door and removed from within the vehicle a purse, a credit card, a checkbook, and currency.  The report stated that the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer learned that the stolen credit card was used at a nearby business and will recover the security video camera files from that business, and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Credit Card Abuse - 1400 Block South John Redditt Drive: On Tuesday, June 8, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that an unidentified actor(s) fraudulently utilized the complainant's credit card to make numerous on-line purchases.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she did not authorize the charge or know the identity of the actor(s) making the charges.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Criminal Mischief - 3500 Block South Medford DriveOn Tuesday, June 8, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that an unidentified actor(s) damaged the complainant's vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the parking lot of the complainant's place of employment, located in the 3500 block of South Medford Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that he did not know the identity of the actor(s) causing the damage or the reason for the actor(s) causing the damage but the actor(s) had "keyed" his vehicle every other week for approximately five months.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.
