LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) – A search of a Lufkin home uncovers crack/cocaine and stolen weapons.

Around six pm Wednesday, Angelina deputies raided a home on Walker Loop on the north side of Lufkin.

Two people were arrested on drug charges.

Kevin Pendland is charged with both the delivery and manufacture of a controlled substance.

Deputies also arrested J P Maxie, who is charged with possession of a controlled substance.

"We found a little over half an ounce of crack/cocaine, 4 or 5 guns, one of them stolen out of Diboll. As we pulled up, one subject fled. They caught him. I think there was about a half ounce or crack/cocaine on him as well," said Sgt. Alan Hill, with the Angelina County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies found several utensils in the home, used for making crack and cocaine. Hill says the house has been under investigation for months.
