6/10/10 Lufkin Police report

Criminal Mischief - 300 Block Lee Lane:  A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department between 6:30 P.M. on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 and 3:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 10, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) damaged two vehicles parked in a driveway of a residence located in the 300 block of Lee Lane.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) punctured two tires of each vehicle.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Vehicle - 500 Block Montrose Street: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department at approximately 2:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 10, 2010, the complainant interrupted the burglary of a vehicle parked outside of a residence located in the 500 block of Montrose Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that, upon hearing the sound of breaking glass, he went to the front of his residence where he observed the suspect inside of the complainant's vehicle.  The complainant reported that the suspect forced entry into the vehicle by breaking one of the vehicle's windows, removed a GPS device from within the vehicle, and fled the area prior to the complainant contacting Lufkin Police Department.  The complainant stated that he recognized the suspect as a person that had on numerous previous occasions attempted to sell to him stolen property.  The report does not indicate whether the complainant had previously purchased stolen property from the suspect but, prior to this date, the complainant had not reported to Lufkin Police Department the previous encounters with the suspect.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Building - 400 Block East Denman Avenue: At approximately 11:30 P.M. on Wednesday, June 9, 2010, a witness reported to Lufkin Police Department that he observed two unidentified actors burglarizing a business located in the 400 block of East Denman Avenue.  According to the report, the witness stated that two black, male subjects forced entry into the business by breaking a window and then fled the area prior to the witness contacting Lufkin Police Department.  The report stated that the responding Officers were unable to locate the actors and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Criminal Mischief - 1400 Block Tulane Drive: On Thursday, June 10, 2010, a complainant appeared at Lufkin Police Department and reported that earlier that date the complainant's estranged husband damaged the door of the complainant's residence, an apartment located in the 1400 block of Tulane Drive.  According to the report, at the time of the incident, Lufkin Police Department Officers responded to the residence and contacted the complainant and suspect but the complainant stated to the Officers that she would not pursue criminal charges against the suspect.  The report stated that the complainant had decided to pursue criminal charges against the suspect and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Habitation - 400 Block Oleta Avenue:  On Wednesday, June 9, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 8:00 A.M. and 4:15 P.M. that date, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's residence, located in the 400 block of Oleta Avenue.  According to the report, the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer did not observe signs that the actor(s) forced entry into the residence but the complainant stated that the actor(s) entered the residence through a rear entry door and removed from within the residence two video gaming systems and game discs.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Credit Card Abuse - 2500 Block Daniel McCall Drive: On Wednesday, June 9, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that an unidentified actor(s) fraudulently utilized the complainant's bank account to make purchases at a business located in the 2500 block of Daniel McCall Drive.  According to the report, the complainant did not authorize the purchases and did not know the identity of the actor(s).  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Habitation - 1100 Block Jefferson Avenue: On Wednesday, June 9, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 6:00 A.M. and 1:00 P.M. that date, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's residence, located in the 1100 block of Jefferson Avenue.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) forced entry into the residence by breaking a window and removed from within the residence a laptop computer.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Criminal Mischief - 1800 Block Sayers Street: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 9:30 P.M. on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 and 8:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 9, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) damaged the complainant's vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the 1800 block of Sayers Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that this incident was the second time in the past thirty days that the actor(s) have used a concrete block to break the vehicle's window.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Vehicle - 3200 Block Old Union Road: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 9:30 P.M. on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 and 8:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 9, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a vehicle parked in the 3200 block of Old Union Road.  According to the report, the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer did not observe signs that the actor(s) forced entry into the vehicle but the complainant stated that the actor(s) entered into the vehicle and removed from within it a wallet containing the complainant's driver's license and Social Security card.  The report stated that the complainant's purse, which had been left overnight in the vehicle, was not stolen and that the incident was referred for further investigation.
