6/10/10 Nacogdoches Police report

Criminal mischief - 300 block of Magnolia:  Unknown suspects broke a vehicle window by throwing a rock through it.

Burglary of a building - 2500 block of South Street:  A building was forcibly entered and some loose change was taken.

Theft - 1900 block of Durst Street: An air conditioner window unit was stolen from a residence.

Assault - 1200 Ferguson (Oak Manor Nursing Home): A 58 year old nursing home resident became upset after being awakened by personnel making rounds at 5:30 a.m. The resident then assaulted a nursing home employee by physically striking the employee. Gilbert Hooper was arrested.

Failure to identify - 500 block of Shawnee:  An officer asked a passenger in a vehicle stopped for traffic for his name. The suspect gave officers a false name. He was arrested.

DWI - 4100 block of N.E. Stallings drive. A vehicle bumped another in the rear while stopped at a traffic light. The complainant notified police and the suspect vehicle was located. The driver was contacted and suspected of being intoxicated and was arrested.
