NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - A Nacogdoches man was not hurt after driving off a bridge and landing in a creek Thursday afternoon.

According to emergency responders, Julio Rodriguez was driving his car on U.S. 59 North, north of Appleby when he fell asleep at the wheel and crossed into oncoming traffic before driving off the Naconiche Creek bridge, around 3:30 p.m.

The "Dukes of Hazard"-style landing left the car in mud, but remarkably, Rodriguez was not hurt.

The car was still stuck in the creek around 3:50 p.m.
