6/11/10 Lufkin Police report

Disturbance/Domestic - 3000 Block South First Street:  At approximately 12:20 A.M. on Friday, June 11, 2010, Lufkin Police Department Officers responded to a reported in-progress disturbance at a residence located in the 3000 block of South First Street.  According to the report, the Officers contacted to subjects who each stated to the Officers that they were the complainant and identified the other subject as the suspect.  The report stated that neither subject displayed signs of injury and neither subject complained of injury so the subjects were separated and the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Habitation - 3400 Block South Chestnut Street: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 12:00 P.M. and 9:30 P.M. on Thursday, June 10, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's residence located in the 3400 block of South Chestnut Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) did not force entry into the residence but they removed a television from within the residence.  The report stated that the complainant provided information concerning a possible suspect and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Assault/Aggravated - 1200 Block West Frank Avenue:  At approximately 9:45 P.M. on Thursday, June 10, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that an unidentified actor assaulted the complainant at an unknown location within Lufkin.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the was struck with a baseball bat as he sat in his parked vehicle outside of a friend's residence but the complainant did not provide details concerning the location of the incident or the identity of the actor.  The report stated that the complainant suffered a laceration to his head and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Criminal Mischief - 500 Block Forest Creek Drive: At approximately 9:30 P.M. on Thursday, June 10, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that an unidentified actor(s) broke eggs onto the complainant's vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the 500 block of Forest Creek Drive.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Fraud - 3000 Block South John Redditt Drive: On Thursday, June 10, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that a known suspect had attempted to fraudulently pass a check at a business located in the 3000 block of South John Redditt Drive.  According to the report, the suspect lefts his driver's license at the business and fled the area when an employee of the business attempted to contact the person listed as issuer on the check.  The report stated that the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer were unable to locate the suspect at the time of the report but recovered the suspect's drivers license and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft - 1600 Block South First Street: On Thursday, June 10, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that an employee of a business located in the 1600 block of South First Street had stolen currency from a cash register at the business.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Criminal Mischief - 1400 Block Sunrise Avenue: At approximately 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 10, 2010, a witness reported to Lufkin Police Department observing two suspicious subjects outside of a vacant residence located in the 1400 block of Sunrise Avenue.  According to the report, the witness described the suspicious subjects to Lufkin Police Department Officers and the Officer located the subjects nearby.  The report stated that the Officers also observed that an entry door to the vacant residence had been forced open but were unable to contact the property owner to verify that the suspicious subjects caused the damage.  The reported stated that the Officer identified and released the suspicious subjects and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Vehicle - 2100 Block South First Street: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 11:30 P.M. on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 and 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 10, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a vehicle parked in the 2100 block of South First Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) forced entry into the vehicle by damaging one of the vehicle's windows but, at the time of the report, nothing was known to be missing from within the vehicle.  The report stated that the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer collected evidence at the scene that may link the actor(s) to the incident and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Vehicle - 2100 Block South First Street: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 11:30 P.M. on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 and 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 10, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a vehicle parked in the 2100 block of South First Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) forced entry into the vehicle by damaging one of the vehicle's windows and removed from within it a tool box containing hand tools.  The report stated that the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer collected evidence at the scene that may link the actor(s) to the incident and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Vehicle - 2600 Block South First Street: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 and 9:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 10, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a vehicle parked in the 2600 block of South First Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) forced entry into the vehicle by damaging one of the vehicle's windows and removed from within it a purse.  The report stated that the complainant's purse was found outside of the vehicle but, at the time of the report, nothing was known to be missing from within the purse, and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Criminal Mischief - 100 Block Broaddus Street: On Thursday, June 10, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 3:00 A.M. and 8:00 A.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) damaged a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Broaddus Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) damaged one of the vehicle's windows.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.
