For anyone who thinks museums are dull, the American Freedom Museum is an awakening. Located on the Brook Hill School Campus, south of Tyler, the museum is a fun, educational, and inspiring tribute to the American spirit.

The brainchild of Brook Hill founder, Stephen Dement, Dement says his World War Two veteran father and high school history teacher both instilled in him a love for history and appreciation and patriotism for our country. The fifteen thousand square foot museum, with its fifteen galleries, pays tribute to American veterans and military personnel and the sacrifices they made to insure our freedom. They are depicted from the American Revolution to the present conflict.
