'Highway Flasher' skips grand jury, pleads to 10 years

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - A Doucette man accused of exposing himself to vehicle occupants on U.S. 69 South has pleaded guilty to the crime and agreed to a 10-year prison sentence.

Clifton Earl Chessher, 45, pleaded guilty on May 27, before his case even went to a grand jury, to two counts of indecency with a child.

According to a previous story, Chessher exposed himself to a woman and her two children in late January, and two other times with school buses with children, the latest on April 13.
