6/14/10 Lufkin Police report

Disturbance/Domestic - 100 Block Jodie Avenue: At approximately 2:45 A.M. on Monday, June 14, 2010, a complainant appeared at Lufkin Police Department and reported a disturbance that occurred earlier that date at a residence located in the 100 block of Jodie Avenue.  According to the report, the complainant stated that during a verbal altercation with the suspect, who is the father of the complainant's child, the suspect broke a window of a vehicle in which the complainant was seated and that the broken glass caused minor lacerations to the complainant's leg.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Assault - 3500 Block North John Redditt Drive: At approximately 8:15 P.M. on Sunday, June 13, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department Officers that the complainant's boyfriend assaulted the complainant at a residence located in the 3500 block of North John Redditt Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that during a verbal altercation the suspect threatened to strike the complainant and then damaged a television before fleeing the area.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft - 700 Block Conn Avenue: At approximately 6:45 P.M. on Sunday, June 13, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department Officers that a witness informed the complainant that an unidentified suspect was at the witness's residence, located in the 700 block of Conn Avenue, attempting to sell a lawn mower previously stolen from the complainant.  According to the report, the complainant stated that he confronted the suspect and the suspect fled the area before the complainant contacted Lufkin Police Department.  The report stated that the responding Lufkin Police Department Officers were not able to locate the suspect and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle - 100 Block Miles Way: At approximately 6:20 P.M. on Sunday, June 13, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department Officers that an unidentified actor(s) stole the complainant's vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the 100 block of Miles Way.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the vehicle's doors were locked but a spare ignition key for the vehicle was left inside of the vehicle.  The report described the vehicle as a red- and silver-in-color 2010 year model Ford F150 light truck displaying Texas license plate AM87718, and the report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Deadly Conduct - 100 Block Shady Bend Drive: At approximately 2:40 P.M. on Sunday, June 13, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department Officers that the father of the complainant's child assaulted the complainant outside of a residence located in the 100 block of Shady Bend Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that during a verbal altercation the suspect struck her causing her to fall to the ground and that she ran to a nearby apartment to get away from the suspect.  According to the report, the complainant stated that, while inside of the apartment, she heard a gunshot and that when she exited the apartment she discovered that a bullet had been fired at her vehicle, damaging two of the vehicle's windows and one of the vehicle's side-view mirrors.  The report stated that the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer were unable to locate the suspect but did collect evidence at the scene, and that the incident was referred for further investigation.
