LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) – Goodwill Industries of Lufkin is putting more people to work.
A new warehouse should be finished by the end of the summer; providing three times more space for storing donated computers and parts.
Once it's completed, Goodwill plans to hire more employees to sort donations to their computer recycling partnership with Dell.
"We have worked with them for the past year and already recycled almost three hundred thousand pounds of computers," said Nancy Bledsoe, Executive Director, Goodwill Industries of Lufkin.
The partnership with Dell pays for the costs of the computer recycling operation.
If you're interested in donating computers you can drop them off at the Goodwill location on Hill street.
