6/21/10 Lufkin Police report

Terroristic Threat - 2500 Block Daniel McCall Drive: At approximately 11:00 P.M. on Sunday, June 20, 2010, a complainant spoke via telephone with a Lufkin Police Department Officer and reported that at approximately 10:00 P.M. that date her estranged husband pointed a handgun at her while they were seated inside of his vehicle in the 2500 block of Daniel McCall Drive.  According to the report, the Officer detected discrepancies in the complainant's account of the reported incident and that the suspect, who also spoke via telephone with the Officer, denied having threatened the complainant.  The report stated that when contacted by the Officer the complainant and suspect contacted were at separate locations and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft - 600 Block Jones Street: On Sunday, June 20, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that each of the previous three nights an unidentified actor(s) had stolen property from the complainant's residence, located in the 600 block of Jones Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that between the hours of 1:00 A.M. and 5:00 A.M. on June 18, 2010, the actor(s) removed a string trimmer from the back porch of the residence.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft - 600 Block Jones Street: On Sunday, June 20, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that each of the previous three nights an unidentified actor(s) had stolen property from the complainant's residence, located in the 600 block of Jones Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that between the hours of 1:00 A.M. and 5:00 A.M. on June 19, 2010, the actor(s) removed two chairs from the back porch of the residence.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Vehicle - 600 Block Jones Street: On Sunday, June 20, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that each of the previous three nights an unidentified actor(s) had stolen property from the complainant's residence, located in the 600 block of Jones Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that between the hours of 1:00 A.M. and 5:00 A.M. on June 20, 2010, the actor(s) forced entry into a vehicle parked outside of the residence and removed from within the vehicle a car radio and tools.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft - 200 Block Brooks Street: On Sunday, June 20, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 10:00 A.M. and 12:00 P.M. that date the complainant lost a mobile telephone somewhere within Lufkin and that at approximately 12:00 P.M. that date someone used the telephone to call a telephone belonging to the complainant's spouse.  The report stated that the caller did not speak to the spouse and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Building - 1900 Block South First Street: At approximately 4:00 A.M. on Sunday, June 20, 2010, Lufkin Police Department Officers responded to an active burglary alarm at a business located in the 1900 block of South First Street and discovered that an unidentified suspect had forced entry into the business by using a brick to break a window.  According to the report, the business' security video camera system captured the suspect's actions as he broke the window, entered the business, and removed cigarettes from within the business.  According to the report, the captured video files showed that the suspect is a tall, thin, black, male subject wearing a purple hat, purple long-sleeve shirt underneath a white short-sleeve shirt, white shorts, white shoes, and a pink or red bandana covering his mouth and nose.  The report stated that the responding Officers were unable to locate the suspect and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Assault - 1200 Block West Frank Avenue: At approximately 3:30 A.M. on Sunday, June 20, 2010, Lufkin Police Department Officers responded to the emergency room at Memorial Hospital in reference to a possible assault victim at that location.  According to the report, the possible victim's intoxicated state prevented the Officers gathering complete details concerning the incident but the information they did receive indicates that outside of a residence somewhere in Lufkin a disturbance occurred between the possible victim and two unidentified male subjects.  The report stated that the complainant's face was swollen and bleeding but the extent of his injuries were unknown at the time of the report, and that the incident was referred for further investigation.
