6/23/10 Lufkin Police report

Burglary/Vehicle - 300 Block North Timberland Drive: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between the 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 and 2:30 A.M. on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's vehicle while the vehicle was parked outside of a business located in the 300 block of North Timberland Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) entered the locked vehicle and removed from within the vehicle the complainant's wallet, credit cards, Social Security card, and currency.  According to the report, a passerby provided the responding Lufkin Police Department Officers a description of a possible suspect and that an Officer later located and identified a subject matching the description provided.  The report stated that in the parking lot of a business located in the area of the reported incident another Officer located the complainant's wallet, credit cards, and Social Security Card.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Vehicle - 1700 Block West Frank Avenue: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between the 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 and 3:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 23, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's vehicle while the vehicle was parked in an employee parking area of a business located in the 1700 block of West Frank Avenue.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) forced entry into the vehicle by breaking one of the vehicle's windows, and that the actor(s) removed from within the vehicle a car radio, a backpack, a wallet, and a Social Security card.  According to the report, the complainant stated that approximately two weeks prior to the reported incident an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the same parking area.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Habitation - 1800 Block Sayers Street: On Tuesday, June 22, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between the 8:00 A.M. and 10:30 P.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's residence, located in the 1800 block of Sayers Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) entered the unsecured residence and removed from within the residence several electronic items, including, a portable navigation system, digital cameras, video gaming systems, and a mobile telephone.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Criminal Mischief - 400 Block Kurth Drive: On Tuesday, June 22, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that an unidentified actor(s) damaged a vacant residence located in the 400 block of Kurth Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) damaged multiple windows at the residence.  The report stated that the complainant provided the name of a possible suspect and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Habitation - 1200 Block Ponderosa Drive: On Tuesday, June 22, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that sometime during the previous week an unidentified actor(s) burglarized a residence located in the 1200 block of Ponderosa Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) entered the unsecured residence and removed from within the residence a television and a microwave oven.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft/Service - 500 Block Homer Street: On Tuesday, June 22, 2010, an employee of a cable television service provider reported to Lufkin Police Department that an unidentified actor(s) had illegally obtained cable television service at a residence located in the 500 block of Homer Street.  According to the report, a customer of the cable television service provider complained of poor television reception and the employee discovered that the actor(s) had spiced into the customer's coaxial cable to divert service to a nearby residence.  The report stated that the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer gathered identifying information of the occupants of the residence illegally receiving the cable television service and that the complainant provided the name of a possible suspect and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Vehicle - 4600 Block South Medford Drive: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between the 8:00 A.M. and 12:20 A.M. on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's vehicle while the vehicle was parked outside of a business located in the 4600 block of South Medford Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) forced entry into the vehicle by breaking one of the vehicle's windows, and that the actor(s) removed from within the vehicle a portable navigation system, a garage door remote, and two portable DVD players.  The report stated that evidence was collected from within the vehicle and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Vehicle - 100 Block Champions Drive: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that sometime between Monday, June 21, 2010 and Tuesday, June 22, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) damaged and stole gasoline from a vehicle while the vehicle was parked in the 100 block of Champions Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) siphoned approximately $10.00 worth of gasoline from the vehicle's fuel tank and punctured two of the vehicle's tires.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Criminal Mischief - 3500 Block North John Redditt Drive: On Tuesday, June 22, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that a known suspect damaged a window at the complainant's residence located in the 3500 block of North John Redditt Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her estranged husband broke a window at the residence in an attempt to gain entry into the residence.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft/Service - 1200 Block North Raguet Street: On Tuesday, June 22, 2010, a City of Lufkin Water Department employee reported to Lufkin Police Department that an unidentified actor(s) had illegally obtained water service at a business located in the 1200 block of North Raguet Street.  According to the report, the employee stated that during January 2010 water service for the business was disconnected due to non-payment and that this date the employee discovered that the actor(s) had removed the service-disconnect lock and illegally reconnected water service to the business.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft - 900 Block McGregor Drive: A complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 11:00 P.M. on Monday, June 21, 2010 and 6:50 A.M. on Tuesday, June 22, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) stole property from outside of a residence located in the 900 block of McGregor Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) removed two vehicle tires and wheels from the carport area outside of the residence.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.
