LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Lufkin Police Department is investigating an assault on a girl in a neighborhood swimming pool by a man.
According to the report, a 12-year-old girl was swimming at a neighborhood swimming pool in the 5500 block of Champions Drive on Tuesday when an older man, who she described to be a white male in his sixties, grabbed her ankle as she swam away from him.
The girl states in the report that it did not hurt her, but it was unwanted. The officers were unable to find the suspect and are investigating the incident.
