Two men in Nacogdoches arrested on drug charges in separate traffic stops

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Two Wednesday traffic stops ended up with two drug arrests for Nacogdoches Police.

According to a police report, officers arrested Laterence Rowe, 22, of Douglassville, during a traffic stop in the 3000 block of North Street. The officer stopped the vehicle for a traffic violation and observed Rowe eating suspected marijuana, the report stated. He is charged with possession of marijuana and tampering with evidence.

Leonard Polk was arrested in the 1600 block of Northwest Stallings Drive. Polk was stopped for a traffic violation and had warrants out for his arrest. The officer also found a bag located on him which was suspected to be marijuana. He is charged with possession of marijuana.
