ANGELINA COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - An interview with an Angelina County man following his arrest Tuesday led deputies to his lab, according to the Angelina County Sheriff's Office.

Inv. Tom Matthews said deputies spoke with Joshua McMurray, 33, following his arrest and he told them about a meth lab he had in the Diboll area, on Bounds Road.

Matthews said the lab was a plastic container, four feet in the ground, inside a shed. He called it one of the most organized labs he had ever seen.

Matthews said McMurray told him he would cook between 100 and 150 grams of meth once or twice a month and would profit about $7,500 per month.

The Drug Enforcement Agency would be filing federal charges on McMurray, since he used the U.S. Postal Service to mail the drugs out of his home, Matthews said.

Also arrested in the raid on Allengin Road Tuesday was McMurray's fiancee, Christiane Hayes, 31, of Lufkin.

Deputies have a warrant out for Daniel Wayne "Caveman" Whisenant, 44, of Lufkin, in connection with the case.
