NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) – A Nacogdoches County family is in jail Thursday night, after sheriff's deputies found two stolen trailers on their property.

Samuel Mejorado, 49, Zenaide Mejorado, 50, and Eduardo Mejorado, 28 are charged with theft of stolen property, a state jail felony. No bond has been set.

According to Nacogdoches County Sheriff Thomas Kerss, one of the recovered trailers was stolen from the Woodville area.

Other property, including tools was discovered.

While the investigation is ongoing, Kerss says the case could unravel—he says it's likely they're linked to other thefts.

The Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Department made the arrests with the help of DPS auto theft investigators.
