2 injured in Nacogdoches wreck

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Two people were injured in a three-car pileup in Nacogdoches Tuesday afternoon.

According to Nacogdoches Police Sgt. Keith Sinchum, Stephen Mohr, 18, driving a Kia, stopped to take a left-hand turn on Pearl Street from the loop. Samuel Welker, 32, of Henderson, stopped behind him, but Jennifer McElyea, 38, of Nacogdoches, failed to control her speed and hit Welker's vehicle, which hit Mohr's vehicle.

McElyea and a passenger in Mohr's vehicle, whose name was not available, were taken to a Nacogdoches hospital and treated for minor injuries.
