7/19/10 Lufkin Police report

Theft - 300 Block Whippoorwill Drive: On Sunday, July 18, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that a known suspect stole property and currency from the complainant's residence, located in the 300 block of Whippoorwill Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she believes her boyfriend, a person with whom the complainant cohabitants, stole the complainant's mobile telephones and currency from within their shared residence.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Assault - 800 Block Lazy Oaks Street: At approximately 9:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 18, 2010, Lufkin Police Department Officer responded to a residence located in the 800 block of Lazy Oaks Street in reference to a reported assault.  According to the report, the officer spoke with a male and a female subject and each subject reported to the Officers that they had been assaulted by the other subject.  The report stated that the Officers did not observe any evidence to support either person's claim of assault and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Criminal Mischief - 1000 Block South First Street: At approximately 8:40 P.M. on Sunday, July 18, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that an unidentified male suspect damaged a window of the complainant's residence, located in the 1000 block of South First Street.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the suspect used a rock to break the window and then fled the area on foot.  The report stated that the complainant provided the name of a possible suspect and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Assault/Aggravated - 3500 Block North John Redditt Drive: At approximately 11:00 A.M. on Sunday, July 18, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that his girlfriend, a person with whom the complainant cohabitants, caused an injury to the complainant's arm during a altercation at their shared residence, located in the 3500 block of North John Redditt Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the suspect threw a kitchen knife at him, causing a laceration, and then fled the area prior to Lufkin Police Department Officers arriving at the residence.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Assault/Aggravated - 1800 Block Sayers Street: At approximately 7:30 A.M. on Sunday, July 18, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that the father of her child struck her with vehicle in the 1800 block of Sayers Street and then fled the area prior to the complainant's sister contacting law enforcement.   According to the report, when contacted by Lufkin Police Department Officers, the suspect stated that the complainant jumped onto and then fell from his vehicle as the vehicle was moving and that the complainant was not injured when he left the area.  The report stated that the complainant refused medical treatment and that the incident was referred for further investigation.
