Diboll toddler recovering after gluing mouth shut

DIBOLL, TX (KTRE) - Diboll paramedics respond to all types of emergencies, but they were a bit surprised when they received the call from a frantic mother whose 2 year old had glued his mouth shut.

The child's mother was using the glue and said she put it down for a second.  When she turned around her son had stuck the tube of glue in his mouth.

She called 9-1-1 and an ambulance was sent to the residence, along with Diboll Police officers.

The mother said she managed to get the child's lips unglued with warm water.  "I was really scared.  This is my only son and I don't know what I'd do if anything happened to him."

The boy's mother said he's recovering and back to playing and being a typical little boy with little indication of his harrowing moments just two days ago.
