LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) – A Lufkin man is in the Angelina County Jail for burglarizing two homes.

According to Detective J.B Smith with the Lufkin Police Department, after breaking into a home on the 400 block of Vivion Avenue Thursday, a woman came home to find 23-year-old Tyson Taylor standing in her carport next to an unfamiliar vehicle.

She was able to give police a good enough description for officers to find him.

Smith said they found stolen items in Taylor's vehicle linking him to a separate burglary on Hays Wood Drive.

He's being held on two $15,000 bonds.
