Missing woman found burned to death, Henderson Co lawmen believe

HENDERSON COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Henderson County investigators say a report of a missing woman lead to the discovery of some burned remains on a property off County Road 3612.

Family members of Sandra Gail Anderson, 50, called the sheriff's office for help in finding her.

Authorities say they went to a home on CR 3612 and became suspicious after talking with the homeowner, Avery Lee Denton, 46. They say the circumstances of Anderson's disappearance Denton communicated to them did not add up.

Anderson was arrested and charged with Tampering with/Fabricating Physical Evidence.

A search of the property was then conducted where the remains were discovered. Authorities say they believe they are Anderson's remains.
