8/4/10 Lufkin Police report

Robbery - 2500 Block Daniel McCall Drive: At approximately 9:00 P.M. on Tuesday, August 03, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that at approximately 2:00 P.M. that date an unidentified suspect stole the complainant's purse while the complainant was in the parking lot of Walmart, located in the 2500 block of Daniel McCall Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that a black, male suspect wearing "a blue jumpsuit with white stripes down the sides" took from her the purse she was holding and fled the area on foot.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she used a payphone to contact a friend who drove the complainant to the complainant's residence to retrieve a spare key to complainant's vehicle and then drove the complainant back to the parking lot.  The report stated that the complainant drove her vehicle to her residence and sometime later contacted Lufkin Police Department to report the incident.  The report stated that incident was referred for further investigation.

Burglary/Habitation - 5400 Block Champions Drive: At approximately 4:30 P.M. on Tuesday, August 03, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between July 02, 2010 and August 02, 2010, an unidentified actor(s) burglarized the complainant's garage, located in the 5400 block of Champions Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) forced entry into the garage by defeating the entry door's lock and removed from within the garage furniture, a bicycle, and a helmet.  The report stated that incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft - 400 Block North Brentwood Drive: On Tuesday, August 03, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that on July 28, 2010 an unidentified suspect stole merchandise from a business located in the 400 block of North Brentwood Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the suspect removed a television from its packaging and exited the business with the television without making payment.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft - 500 Block Gaslight Boulevard: On Tuesday, August 03, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that at approximately 3:00 P.M. that date unidentified suspects stole the complainant's Apple brand iPhone mobile telephone from the complainant's desk at a medical office located in the 500 block of Gaslight Boulevard.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she left her telephone on her desk while she assisted a client and when she returned to her desk she discovered that her telephone was missing.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the only other persons within the building at the time of the offense were the two females that accompanied the client but the complainant confronted the females and they denied the theft and left the scene prior to the complainant contacting Lufkin Police Department.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft - 100 Block North Timberland Drive: On Tuesday, August 03, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that at approximately 1:00 P.M. that date an unidentified suspect stole the complainant's mobile telephone from within H.E.B. located in the 100 block of North Timberland Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she left her telephone inside the grocery store and when she called the telephone number to locate the telephone a male suspect answered.  The report stated that the suspect told the complainant that he was in Diboll and the complainant directed him to deliver the telephone to Diboll Police Department but, at the time of the report, the telephone had not been delivered.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Theft - 100 Block North Timberland Drive: On Tuesday, August 03, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that at approximately 12:00 P.M. that date an unidentified actor(s) stole the complainant's wallet from the parking lot of H.E.B., located in the 100 block of North Timberland Drive.  According to the report, the complainant stated that she left her wallet in a shopping cart in the parking lot of the grocery store but when she realized her mistake and returned she discovered that the wallet was missing.  The report stated that the complainant contacted management for the grocery store and was told that the wallet had not been turned-in.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Harassment - 100 Block Champions Drive: On Tuesday, August 03, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that a known suspect had harassed the complainant.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the she received numerous, threatening telephone calls from a female co-worker despite the complainant's requests that she discontinue.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Criminal Mischief - 1200 Block Grant Avenue: On Tuesday, August 03, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that a known suspect had damaged the complainant's property, located in the 1200 block of Grant Avenue.  According to the report, the complainant stated that her neighbor removed a section of fencing, approximately fifty feet in length, from their property line.  The report stated that the responding Lufkin Police Department Officer was unable to contact the neighbor and that the incident was referred for further investigation.

Criminal Mischief - 1000 Block Ellis Avenue: On Tuesday, August 03, 2010, a complainant reported to Lufkin Police Department that between 5:00 P.M. on August 02, 2010 and 9:00 A.M. on August 03, 2010, and unidentified actor(s) damaged property outside of a business located in the 1000 block of Ellis Avenue.  According to the report, the complainant stated that the actor(s) broke a glass lamp cover and bent gas pipes located on the exterior of the business' building.  The report stated that the incident was referred for further investigation.
