LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) – Saturday, KTRE told the story of two married Pilgrim's Pride employees who said they haven't received a paycheck in weeks.
April, whose last name we are not using in order to protect her identity, said she was terminated last week without reason.
KTRE caught up with her Tuesday and she said there are now checks waiting for her and her husband, but that Pilgrim's Pride still owes her money.
Pilgrim's Pride spokesperson Gary Rhodes told us the couple filled out an incomplete address form, but that the problem has now been fixed.
Rhodes said the woman was terminated as a result of having too many absences.
